Your name is spiraled out from the center and repeated six times around the axis. Every name produces a different pattern, so no two ornaments are the same.

Family name ornaments, first Christmas gifts, grandparent and grandchild keepsakes, teacher and coworker gifts, and anyone who wants something on the tree that exists exactly once.

Not a good fit if you need it outdoors, you need more than 12 characters, or you need it in under three weeks. Hyphenated and very long names get cramped — message first and we'll check it before you order.

Questions

How many characters fit on a name ornament?

Twelve, without spaces or special characters. Shorter names give a more open, airy flake; longer names pack the pattern tighter.

Can you do two names on one snowflake?

Two works. More than two disrupts the pattern that makes it read as a snowflake. Message with the specific names and we'll confirm before you order.

What are the snowflakes made of?

3D printed PLA plastic. Wood and other materials are in development.

Will it survive being stored in an attic?

No. PLA softens around 130–140°F, which an uninsulated attic or a hot car reaches easily. Store it indoors with your other ornaments and it will last for years.

When do I need to order for Christmas?

November 27. Production is 2–3 weeks and we don't cut that short.
